"Druha Rika" has set off on a tour of Ukraine with the anniversary show "I AM! 30 Years" and the presentation of a new album. The band "Druha Rika" continues its journey across Ukraine as part of the big tour "I AM! 30 Years". The musicians are presenting an anniversary program for the band's 30th anniversary: audiences can look forward to the premiere of an album, favorite songs in a fresh sound, and warm meetings with the artists.
Tickets are on sale at drugarika.com. The main goal of the tour is to raise UAH 15 million for a boat for evacuation missions to rescue scouts, MAVIC 3T drones and server equipment for the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR MoD). By buying a ticket, spectators automatically make a donation, as part of the proceeds will go to support the charity fundraiser.
More than UAH 7 million has already been raised; you can also join the fundraiser and make a donation via the link. The band's anniversary program "I AM! 30 Years" is not a nostalgic return to the past, but the presentation of a new chapter in the history of "Druha Rika". Besides the premieres of the songs "MY" ("WE"), "7'Ya online", "Ya ydu/do tebe" and others, the concerts will feature well-known hits — "Sekret", "Tak malo tut tebe", "Vzhe ne sam", "Vidchynyay", "Try khvylyny" — in a fresh sound. The band's leader Valerii Kharchyshyn stresses that this tour is above all about a live meeting with the Ukrainian listener. "Our tour is for those who have missed "Druha Rika".
And especially for those who have missed new songs — there will be enough of them to surprise you. Some compositions will be heard for the first time, and in every city it will be a premiere. But of course, it won't be without the already legendary hits — in a new sound and new arrangements. This will be a new program that you will hear in your own city," says Valerii. According to the musician, the decision to start the tour in Ukraine was a matter of principle. "We know for sure that we have missed you. That is why we are traveling first of all across Ukraine — to those who stay at home during this difficult period and wait for us in their cities," the musician sums up. During the tour the band will perform in Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhhorod, Lviv, Truskavets, Vinnytsia, Kremenchuk, Kropyvnytskyi, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, Polianytsia, Uman, Bila Tserkva, Samar, Ternopil, Lutsk, Rivne, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv and Kamianske. On the eve of the tour, the band released a video for the song "7'Ya online" — one of the key tracks of the upcoming album. It is a song about families and the bond between people who are separated by war, service and distance. About those who wait for a call for days and months — and about the words that are often put off "for later".
