Tosca — Ukraine Chamber Opera and Francis van Broekhuizen (Enschede)

🎭 Tosca by Puccini performed by Ukraine Chamber Opera: an Italian classic, a Ukrainian ensemble and Francis van Broekhuizen, a renowned Dutch soprano, in the title role. This is a rare chance to hear soloists from Ukrainian opera houses on the same stage with her.

Rome, 1800. A singer finds herself caught between love, jealousy and political power. The production focuses on the relationships between the characters and their difficult choices. The set design is compact, so the spotlight stays on Puccini's music and the unfolding story.
