Vlad and Veronika — Revelation — Barendrecht

💃 Two Ukrainian dancers turn their own memories into movement and, without a single word, tell the story of being forced to leave Ukraine, of love, identity, and the new life that has to be built from scratch. Vladyslav Detiuchenko and Veronika Rakitina are a duo who became widely known in the Netherlands after Holland's Got Talent 2025.

🎭 The Revelation programme includes several contemporary choreography pieces:

• My Orpheus — inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and the work of Jean Cocteau, about art and the mark a person leaves behind
• Everglow — about the first months of the war in Ukraine and people separated from their homes and loved ones
• the dance with which the duo won recognition on the televised talent show

It is an evening when Ukrainian artists speak to a Dutch audience in the language of contemporary dance.

🎟 A regular ticket costs €31.50, with a CJP card €30. Tickets must be bought in advance on the theatre's website: choose this performance and check whether seats are available and whether extra fees are charged.
