I See You're Interested in Darkness

A gloomy psychological thriller: a former investigator arrives in a remote village to investigate the murder of a child — and gradually sinks into his own traumas and the darkness that lives within people. Pavliuk masterfully sustains the tension, blending detective fiction, mysticism and deep psychology. One of the most talked-about Ukrainian books of recent years, and a hard one to put down.

Who should read it: fans of thrillers and psychological detective stories in the spirit of Scandinavian noir; those who are not afraid of dark, tense stories and love a book that doesn't let go until the last page.
