“Networks of Freedom” — Net Weaving, Film and a Fenix Performance

🤝 Here, residents of Nijmegen and the Ukrainian community weave nets for Ukraine's defenders side by side. “Networks of Freedom” is an initiative by Nick Verschuur at Expo Bart. According to the venue, this joint effort helps keep attention on the war and brings participants closer to people in Ukraine.

🎶 What's happening on Sunday:

• 12:00 — camouflage net weaving begins
• 13:00 — screening of the film Culture vs War
• 15:00 — performance by the vocal group Fenix
• 16:00 — closing gathering with vodka and snacks

💛💙 Throughout the day, Ukrainian handmade items will be on sale, and all proceeds will go to donations. The organizers do not specify who will receive them or how much.

📝 This is the Sunday part of the program. On Saturday, the initiative has a separate schedule, and the talk with the artist belongs to that one. Registration required. It is best to check with Expo Bart in advance about the language of the film and whether subtitles are available.
