Oleh Lysenko — Music for Ukraine Charity Concert, Bodegraven

🎶 Bayan, wind orchestra and church organ in one program, all beneath the vaulted ceiling of an old church. Oleh Lysenko is giving a charity concert at Sint Willibrorduskerk, and every euro raised will go to help Ukraine.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Lysenko has been playing charity concerts and raising funds for ambulances and medical supplies. This performance continues the same cause: according to the organizer, all the money collected will go to humanitarian aid through Stichting Music for Ukraine.

🎶 Who is on stage:

• Oleh Lysenko
• wind orchestra Harmonie de Vriendschap from Woerden
• organist Gijsbert Kok

The concert will be opened by the mayor of Bodegraven, Michiel Grauss. The musicians perform without fees, and the church provides the venue free of charge. The exact program of works has not been announced yet, so you will hear the combination of bayan, orchestra and organ for the first time right in the hall.

🤝 After the concert you can stay, chat with each other and with the performers.

💛💙 Admission is free, and during the concert the organizers ask you to support Music for Ukraine with a donation. The concert lasts about an hour and a half.
