Tosca — Ukraine Chamber Opera and Francis van Broekhuizen (Uden)

🎭 Puccini's Tosca performed by Ukraine Chamber Opera, with the lead role sung by the renowned Dutch soprano Francis van Broekhuizen. This is a rare chance to hear soloists from Ukrainian opera theatres on the same stage with her.

The action takes place in Rome in 1800. The singer finds herself caught between love, jealousy and political power. The performance focuses on the relationships between the characters and the difficult decisions they have to make.

🎶 What to expect:

• Francis van Broekhuizen as Tosca
• tenor Maxime Vorocek as Cavaradossi
• an orchestra of international musicians conducted by Jeroen Weierink
• stage director Marc Krone
• musical highlights include the arias Vissi d'arte and E lucevan le stelle

The staging is compact, so the focus stays on Puccini's score and the story itself.

🎟 A ticket costs €49.50 including a €2 ticket fee. Tickets must be purchased in advance on the theatre's website. Because of the orchestra pit, the first three rows are not available. Seats for wheelchair users should be arranged with the theatre in advance. The language of the performance and the availability of surtitles have not yet been confirmed.
