Tosca — Ukraine Chamber Opera and Francis van Broekhuizen (Waalwijk)

🎭 Puccini's Tosca is one of the most passionate operas in history, and now the Ukrainian ensemble Ukraine Chamber Opera is bringing it to the stage. The title role is sung by the renowned Dutch soprano Francis van Broekhuizen, joined by soloists from Ukrainian opera theatres.

Rome, 1800. A singer finds herself caught between love, jealousy and political power, and every character has to make difficult decisions. The staging here is minimalist, so the focus stays on Puccini's music and the story itself.
