Vlad and Veronika — Revelation — De Mern

🎭 Ukrainian choreographers Vladyslav Detiuchenko and Veronika Rakitina turn their own memories into dance. In Revelation, the experience of being forced to leave Ukraine is interwoven with themes of love, identity and starting a new life from scratch. In the Netherlands, the duo became well known thanks to Holland's Got Talent 2025.

🎶 The programme:

• My Orpheus: a piece inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and the work of Jean Cocteau, about art and the legacy a person leaves behind
• Everglow: about the first months of the war in Ukraine and people separated from their homes and loved ones
• the dance that earned the duo recognition on the televised talent show

There are few or no words in the performance, so the language barrier is no problem.
