A Picture to Remember — SplenDoor to Ukraine XXXV

🎬 How has the way Ukrainian documentary filmmakers look at reality changed over time? The 35th evening of the SplenDoor to Ukraine series at Splendor lets you trace this on screen. It will be introduced by Antoniy Baryshevskyi, and the evening is timed for the month when IDFA takes place in Amsterdam.

The idea behind the A Picture to Remember programme is to show earlier works by Ukrainian directors who return to IDFA this year with new films. These are films that the festival has selected before. Watching them makes it easier to understand where the authors started out and how their language has changed. The result is a living snapshot of how Ukrainian documentary filmmaking has developed.

🎟 A regular ticket costs 12 €. For CJP and Stadspas holders, students and members of the membership programme, the ticket costs 7 €. Booking is required. Doors open 45 minutes before the start, and the bar and cloakroom will be open.
