ORPHEUS — Christmas Concert

🎶 Eight voices without a single instrument, and that is quite enough to fill a chapel with the sound of Christmas. The Lviv ensemble ORPHEUS brings a seasonal programme of Ukrainian a cappella singing to the Netherlands.

The group was founded in 2000 and has since brought together eight professional singers. Their strength lies in combining rich polyphonic harmonies with expressive solo parts. ORPHEUS has toured Europe, including performances at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and De Doelen in Rotterdam.

🎄 The ensemble's repertoire includes:

• Orthodox sacred music
• Ukrainian folk and popular songs
• Christmas pieces
• international vocal classics

The venue has not published the exact programme of the concert, so no specific songs are promised. What you can expect is an intimate atmosphere in which this vocal tradition is heard especially close.

🎟 A ticket costs 35 euros, and it must be bought in advance. Doors open half an hour before the start. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
