ORPHEUS — Christmas Concert

🎶 Eight voices and not a single instrument, and that is quite enough to fill a hall. The Lviv ensemble ORPHEUS brings a Christmas programme of Ukrainian a cappella singing to Dorne.

The group was founded in Lviv in 2000 and has since consisted of eight professional singers. Their strength is rich polyphonic harmonies, through which expressive solo parts emerge time and again. ORPHEUS has toured Europe and has performed, among other places, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and De Doelen in Rotterdam.

🎄 The group's repertoire is broad:

• Orthodox sacred music
• Ukrainian folk and popular songs
• Christmas works
• international vocal classics

The venue has not published the full list of works for this evening, so no specific songs are promised. But there will be an intimate atmosphere in which this vocal tradition can be heard especially well.

🎟 Tickets start from €20.70, and must be bought in advance. The concert takes place in the Martinetzaal, located on the first floor above entrance level.
