Tosca — Ukraine Chamber Opera and Francis van Broekhuizen (Groningen)

🎭 Puccini's Tosca performed by the Ukrainian company Ukraine Chamber Opera, where Italian opera is sung by an international cast. The title role is sung by the renowned Dutch soprano Francis van Broekhuizen, joined on stage by soloists from Ukrainian opera theatres.

The story is set in Rome in 1800. The singer finds herself caught between love, jealousy and political power, and every character has to make difficult decisions. The staging is compact, so the focus stays on Puccini's music and the story itself.
